AACM 60th Anniversary Series at the Jazz Showcase

 Chicago Saxophonist Edwin Daugherty has made multiple appearances at the Chicago Jazz Festival as well as Orchestra Hall, the Sons d’hiver  festival [Paris], Umbria Jazz Festival [Italy], the Jazz Showcase, Park West, Green Mill, Apollo Theater [NY] and numerous other venues around the world. He has performed and/or recorded with Quincy Jones, Natalie Cole, Richard Muhal Abrams, Phil Coran, the Motown Orchestra, Isaac Hayes Nancy Wilson, BB King and Roberta Flack among others.

Edwin has participated in numerous music and film projects and created original tracks featured by Sony Music and the Walt Disney Company. He is also a highly regarded fine arts educator with degrees from Governors State and Concordia Universities. He is a long time member of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians with its dedication to cutting edge creative music and a Chicago icon.
