BARB BAILEY is a Chicago-based Vocalist, Producer, Writer and Booking Agent. She has come a long way from being a baby found in a cardboard box in Wheeling, West Virginia.
BARB has been hailed as "a first-rate storyteller both in her song delivery and her personal anecdotes" by Broadway World, NYC and regaled for her "freedom of expression" by club owner, Chad Willetts of LePiano.
"What a night! BARB BAILEY brought the house down - that's just what she did - with her bright, upbeat engagement of the audience - and her full-range rich, robust, sophisticated voice. You couldn't find this quality anywhere else in Chi-town. I thought I was at the Carlyle in New York." Thomas O'Gorman, Skyline Chicago
BARB has established herself as a Chicago force on Chicago's Music scene. She has written and starred in 10 separate shows. And has performed them at the Mercury Theater 2 times; Marchesa Chicago; Davenport's Piano Bar 5 times; Drew's on Halsted; LePiano 3 times; Eastgate Bistro; Don't Tell Mama in Times Square, NYC and Towngate Theatre in her hometown of Wheeling, WV. This fall she is heading back to NYC - then on to Los Angeles and Palm Springs and to Las Vegas in the spring.
BARB recently sang with Brian Patti's APOL Orchestra in Chicago.
BARB is preparing to go into the studio to record her first album which is comprised of a few songs she has written and covers of classic songs that she loves from the Great American Songbook.
