Don’t miss G. Thomas Allen 4TET, led by jazz vocalist, composer and music educator G. Thomas

stylizing to straight-ahead, classic jazz helped him to win the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International
Jazz Competition. Recognized as the first and only male, in history, to hold the prestigious
SASSY Award – Downbeat Magazine.
Known for his warm timbre and stratospheric range, compared to the likes of Philip Bailey, he is

David Baker and the Smithsonian Jazz Orchestra Masterworks, top-tier ensemble work for
Wynton Marsalis’ “All Rise” tour in Europe, to being under the baton of Bobby McFerrin at
Carnegie Hall with the St. Luke Chamber Ensemble. As a multi-genre Artist, Thomas is a former
member of Baltimore’s own Soulful Symphony and Los Angeles Opera – along with lead vocals

Symphony with past performances at the 50th New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, TD Jazz
Moody Jazz Festival, and White Plains NY Jazz Festival.
